Community Partnerships coordinator
Role Overview
The Community Partnerships Coordinator leads outreach and relationship-building efforts for Spoken Culture’s community initiatives and flagship productions including the Poet Chronicles, the Black History Slam, Spoken Culture Roster etc.
This role focuses on cultivating partnerships that expand visibility, strengthen programming, and support long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and connect with potential community partners
Maintain communication with existing partners
Support sponsorship conversations and collaboration agreements
Coordinate cross-promotion and shared initiatives
Track partnership opportunities and engagement
Estimated Commitment
Approximately 8-12 hours per week on average, with increased coordination during major event cycles.
Eligibility
We are looking for someone who:
Is confident communicating with organizations and professionals
Has strong written and verbal communication skills
Is organized and proactive
Has interest or experience in community engagement, arts, or nonprofit work
Previous partnership or outreach experience is an asset but not required.
